• Applications for Melbourne High School are open to all current Year 9 students.
• The examination is specific to the four selective entry high schools only - Melbourne High School, Nossal High School, Suzanne Cory High School and The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School.  Students must sit this specific examination.
• Students applying to Melbourne High School as well as Nossal High School and/or Suzanne Cory High School will sit the entrance examination once only.  The registration first submitted will be allocated as the sitting school and the student will sit the test at this school.  This cannot be changed after the 2nd of June.  Please note that the venue capacity at any one particular school may mean seating allocations need to be amended.
• Results from the examination will be transferred to the selective entry high schools to which the student has submitted an application.
• Students must submit individual applications to each school and comply with the special application conditions, shown on each school's website.

Applicants applying to Nossal High School, Melbourne High School and Suzanne Cory High School only:

The registration first submitted will be allocated as the sitting school and the student will sit the test at this school.  This cannot be changed after the 2nd of June.  Please note that the venue capacity at any one particular school may mean seating allocations need to be amended.

Special Application Conditions For Melbourne High School:

Students must complete the MHS Application form in their own handwriting and bring it with them, together with photocopies of school reports and co-curricular evidence, on the day of the entrance examination.  Please read the Year 10 Enrolment section of the school website for further instructions, www.mhsviceduau.com/

Students who apply to other schools and do not sit the entrance examination at Melbourne High School need to ensure their written application, school reports and co-curricular documents arrive at Melbourne High School no later than Thursday 8 June 2017.
