Years 10-12, 2026 Scholarships:

Billanook College’s Senior School Scholarships are available to new students, commencing Years 10, 11 or 12 in 2026, who demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies and can positively contribute to the College community.

Academic Excellence Scholarships – awarded based on the outcome of the Scholarship Test (held on Saturday 23 August 2025) and the supporting documentation provided
General Excellence Scholarships – awarded based on both the outcome of the Scholarship Test (held on Saturday 23 August 2025) and the supporting documentation provided (outlined below)

Documents Required

In addition to the Scholarship Testing, the following is required for ALL Senior Scholarship applications:

  • handwritten letter from the student describing themselves, their aspirations for school, interests outside of school, their community involvement and leadership, and a description of why they wish to become part of the Billanook Community.
  • a copy of your child’s current Semester Report
  • a copy of your child’s Year 9 NAPLAN results

General excellence scholarships – additional information

Students applying for a General Excellence Scholarship should also provide a 2-page (no more than 2 pages will be accepted) summary of their achievements, for example:

  • excellence in one or more areas other than academic (e.g. music, leadership, co-curricular interests)
  • a high level of application to all classroom and extra-curricular activities
  • the potential to make a positive contribution to the Billanook community (e.g. community involvement or leadership initiatives).

Scholarships awarded are based on the outcome of the test results and the supporting documentation provided.

Other Information

Scholarships are tenable for the duration of a student’s time at Billanook College and provide a remission of up to 50% of the annual Tuition Fee (Composite Fee not included). Scholarship Testing will be held at the College on Saturday 23 August 2025.

  • Senior School Scholarships ARE NOT open to existing Billanook College students.
  • Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa
