Students must be Australian citizens or holders of a visa granting permanent residency status in Australia. Citizens of New Zealand who are permanently settled in Australia are eligible for entry. All applicants must provide documentation such as evidence of Australian Citizenship, Birth Certificate, Australian Passport or Permanent Residency Visa with each application to North Sydney Girls High School.
Students wanting to be considered by North Sydney Girls High School as well as Baulkham Hills High School, James Ruse Agricultural High School, Chatswood High School and/or Sydney Girls High School must submit individual Edutest applications to each school by the individual closing dates and comply with the special application conditions, shown on each school's website. Payment is required for each.
The examination is specific to the selective entry high schools only - North Sydney Girls High School, Baulkham Hills High School, James Ruse Agricultural High School, Chatswood High School and/or Sydney Girls High School. Students must sit this specific examination. Students applying to any of these six schools will sit the entrance examination once only and the results will be provided to those schools for which an application has been submitted.
The registration first submitted to Edutest will be allocated as the sitting school and the student will sit the test at this school. This cannot be changed after the 24th of July. Please note that the venue capacity at any one particular school may mean seating allocations need to be amended.
If you wish to organise to sit the test at a remote venue (ie other than Sydney), please contact remote@edutest.com.au IMMEDIATELY UPON COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION. Depending on personal circumstances and location, remote testing arrangements can take several weeks to organise. Early contact with Edutest is strongly advised. Please note, remote testing incurs an additional fee. Eligibility criteria apply.
All students sitting this exam in Sydney will sit a paper-based exam.
No alternate testing dates are available if you are unable to attend testing on this date.
