Payment is made at the end of this registration process online. If payment is not made, your registration WILL NOT be valid.

Applications received on or after this date will be charged the Late Fee rate.

Applications for the Mac.Robertson Girls' High School are open to all students who are CURRENTLY IN YEAR 9 or 10 who are Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, holders of a PERMANENT Resident's Visa or holders of a visa or ImmiCard which would exempt them from paying International Student Fees to attend a Victorian government school at the time of this application.  If you are uncertain as to the status of your visa, please contact the school to confirm your eligibility.  Students MUST sit the examination in order to qualify for selection. 

This registration is for students applying for entry to year 10 2026 or year 11 2026.  

Please note: The number of vacancies for enrolment for Year 10 and 11 will be conditional on any vacancies that may occur within the cohort (Year 9 and 10) of the previous year.  There is no guarantee that there will be any vacancies.

The examination is specific to the Selective Entry High Schools only - Melbourne High School, The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, Nossal High School and Suzanne Cory High School.  Students must sit this specific examination.   If a student registers for multiple Selective Entry High Schools, the registration first submitted will be allocated as the sitting school and the student will sit the test at this school.  This cannot be changed after the 2nd of June. Please note that the venue capacity at any one particular school may mean seating allocations need to be amended.

Results from the examination will be transferred to the Selective Entry High Schools to which the student has submitted an Edutest application.

Students must submit individual Edutest applications to each school and comply with the special application conditions, shown on each school's website. Payment is required for each application.

Students should send hardcopy photocopies of evidence of: NAPLAN results, school reports from the end of the previous year (December 2024), and any awards, achievements, and co-curricular involvement from both in school and outside of school by  20 June 2025. 

Late submissions will not be considered.  Please note that all submitted reports, evidence of co-curricular involvement, and certificates should be photocopies as they will not be returned to the applicant. If students are subsequently invited to interview, during Term 3, we will request that electronic copies of their 2025 mid-year reports be emailed to the school with confirmation they will be attending the interview.

Photocopies of reports and attachments with the applicant's address and year level applied for clearly written should be posted to the below address/ or can be handed over to the front office on the day of the exam if you have applied for Mac.Rob:
